There's a book fair at the middle school. I think I'm excited. I LOVE book fairs, always have always will. Only today, I'm a worker bee not a shopper (see). (See what I did there). I am encountering THESE tweens for the first time as 7th graders. They are not my sweet kindergarten friends that I did KidWriting with. They are big kids, possibly MEAN KIDS. I have to make sure I'm dressed appropriately, my hair is well done. We CAN do this. We WILL do this. I'll be back at noon with photos and a scare report (plus the books that I got, what??? don't judge me. Kidlit rocks!)
